BootyMD

Everyone poops, but most people don’t like talking about their bowel movements. This has led to a whole lot of misinformation and misguidance about it–and many people needlessly suffering with BOOTY (Otherwise known as anal) problems. People are also just as uncomfortable talking about the anus. Some people find the word itself offensive or embarrassing. They use words like rear end, bottom, or our favorite, booty. The truth is that anus is a medical term, just as is chest, abdomen and neck. Your bottom is your buttock, but your anus is the area that passes stool. We’ll all be better off if we embrace these words, but to make everything on this website accessible and comfortable for everyone, we will alternate between all the words we commonly use.
